About the Eastern District
The Eastern District is composed of over 1,100 physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and students. Volunteers of the District are dedicated to clinical, legislative, and policy education of those in the physical therapy profession and the public. Education is provided at membership meetings, formal continuing professional development courses, through social media and in communication with members.
We are looking to expand our network of PTs/PTAs and students in the new Eastern District to facilitate better networking and educational opportunities for all members. If you would like to host a meeting or serve as an educational speaker for a meeting, please contact one of the district leaders today. We are here to work with you to assure that your APTA/MPTA membership continues to be a valuable part of your professional life!
