Carroll University seeks a Clinical or Tenure Track Assistant Professor for its Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Responsibilities of this 9-month appointment include teaching, scholarship, and service. Areas of clinical, teaching and/or scholarship expertise considered for the position include one or more of the following areas: geriatrics, tests and measures, neurological rehabilitation, and/or motor control. Candidates who have a documented record of teaching and professional service excellence, who are innovative and value a dynamic, integrated and comprehensive approach to physical therapy education, and who are seeking a vibrant, interdisciplinary working environment are encouraged to apply.

Candidate requirements:


• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Wisconsin as a physical therapist


• Academic doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DSc).


• Have a minimum of 3 years professional clinical experience as a physical therapist.


• ABPT specialization in geriatrics, neuro, NDT/c or CEEAA preferred


• Postsecondary level teaching experience is preferred.

The College: The College of Health Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate programs through four departments— Physical Therapy (DPT), Health and Medicine, Human Movement Sciences and Nursing. Health sciences account for ~60% of the University enrollment. The mission of the College of Health Science is to educate students to be innovative professionals who collaborate to serve the health needs of their communities. The Physical Therapy Program


The Physical therapy program is a direct admit program. The program is housed at the Carroll University Center for Graduate Studies, a 55,000 sq. ft. interdisciplinary graduate facility. This facility includes comprehensive teaching and state of the art laboratory spaces for both teaching and scholarly endeavors.
